Made possible by our friends at Carhartt who are supporting the artist and maker community in a wealth of ways. Symbolizing the growth of the three Nordin Brothers, this sculpture is 20 ft tall and is made of steel and glass.

Our showroom
Commissioned by the Satetsky Law Firm in Birmingham Michigan, Destination featured are 3 ft diameter cast glass centerpiece, the sculpture is stainless steel and is 16 ft tall. Commissioned by Hatch and Strategic Staffin Solutions in Detroit, this sculpture is made of steel and glass and stands 20 ft tall. Standing in the middle of Michigan Avenue near the historic train depot, it was dedicated by Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan. The sculpture symbolizes one generation of Detroiters handing the torch to the next. It symbolizes Detroit’s historic architectural and pays tribute in the columns of the base to the Armed Forces.
COLLABORATIVE MEETING SPACE
Built to allow ribbons to be tied to it, the stainless steel sculpture further represents the strength of the patients and their families. It features hand made copper butterflies that symbolize love, peace and positive energy. Commissioned as a celebration of our grandfather Adam Gottler, this sculpture is from our Lifetree series. Everyone is welcome to browse in all MDC showrooms, but due to the custom nature of certain furnishings, purchasing in some showrooms is facilitated through trade professionals. Purchasing policies vary per showroom, as each is individually owned and operated. Consumers who wish to make a purchase in one of our to-the-trade showrooms are welcome to visit our Management Office in Suite 25 for a personal referral for a design professional who can coordinate all the details for your transaction. Commissioned by Moceri Development, the sculpture is 10 ft tall and weighs 4000 lbs.

Attendees can explore works in all mediums including painting, sculpture, glass, woven art, and more. A selection of art works will be available to purchase.

We create one of a kind sculptures for any setting, please contact us to discuss your ideas. This sculpture was created in 2016 for the University of Michigan Football Team by the Nordin Brothers.
Change is afoot at the Michigan Design Center in Troy. The furniture and home decor center has a new showroom, the Gallery of Luxury, featuring furnishings from several luxury European manufacturers, including Cattelan, MaxDivani, Bonaldo, Miniforms, Pianca, Glas Italia, Fiam, and more. Opened by industry veteran Marsela Gjoni in Suite 33, she also plans to feature a rotating mix of art from local artists. “We offer our clients pieces that go beyond trends and fashion,” said Gjoni in a press release. Freedom of Flight was created to salute Selfridge Air Force Base in Harrison Township, Michigan. 20 ft tall made of stainless steel, carbon steel and glass.
